SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER P27770HD,
You would be well advised to stay well clear of this TV/MONITOR.
The Picture is good but the complements stop there.
The top of the monitor tilts forward because it is too heavy for the stand – It cannot be adjusted.
Faults:
First fault: The VGA input developed a fault and had to be sent back to the suppliers AVIDES in Germany at a cost of £50.
Second Fault: The TV Monitor developed a fault where everything on the screen was green. I sent it back to Germany at a cost of £50 again.
The TV Monitor was repaired but the dealer put a fault on the PC VGA input which no longer works.
I am waiting to find out if AVIDES will be paying the cost of returning the Monitor to Germany for the third time for repair.
If you are considering a TV/MONITOR look at LG products and make sure it’s source in the UK if you purchase it from Amazon.

Great PC Monitor,
My primary requirement was for a large monitor to attach to my PC, with a decent screen resolution of 1920×1080, with the additional features of a TV in the future rather than doubling up on multiple screens in my room. My experience to date with the Samsung as a PC Monitor has been really positive. The display is sharp, clear and it looks great in the room. Its got adequate options for multuple input connections (HDMI, Scart, DVI, Component), and you can link your PC soundcard to the screen which cuts down further on the amount of wires and extra speakers. The sound quality is OK, but if you wanted really crisp and clear sound from music or DVDs, you might prefer to stick with your external speakers. I look forward to trying the TV in the next few weeks when I have had an outside aerial fitted. I tried some internal portable aerials, but the freeview signal is just not good enough where I am, hence the reason for an outside unit. All in all, very pleased with the unit.
